We observe gestures and movements through our screens, these are crossed by porous bodies that make these images their own (our bodies as containers of experiences). Piece created during the quarantine in which, through a choreography of tik tok images, dance and reproduction are shown as a form of expression. 2020.

CARMEN IXCHEL MAYA
Graduated from Visual Arts (UNAM), she studies at Centro de Investigación Coreográfica (INBA). She works with the concept of archive and appropriation, starting from an investigation between the meanings of choreography, the body and the moving image. She has performed at Teatro de la Danza, CMMAS Morelia, Salón de danza UNAM, Casa Estudio Diego Rivera, and Hemispheric Institute. She was an artist in residence at CaSa Oaxaca. Her work has been shown in Colombia, Brazil, Italy, Vienna, and Mexico.
