redSwan is an abstract short film and an extended part of a Trilogy. The film deals with the innermost emotions of the main characters in the story. It was shot in Las Vegas, Death Valley, Amsterdam, and Eina-Norway.

Ella Fiskum hails from Trondheim, Norway. She studied classical ballet at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, privately under Natalia Papina in St. Petersburg, Russia, and at The John Cranko Schule in Stuttgart, Germany. After working extensively as a contemporary dancer, touring in Europe and Canada, she founded Ella Fiskum Danz working both as a choreographer, dancer, and producer. She has created seven full length dance productions, directed and choreographed two opera productions, several short films and site specific performances: Her work has been shown in US, Mexico, Russia, India, Iceland and extensively in Norway. Her most recent ongoing work, The Triptych Trilogy, was honored (part one) during a two week residency that culminated in a showcase performance at the renowned Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC) in New York, and later performed together with The Trondheim Symphony Orchestra. Part two was invited to an International Dance Film Festival in Mexico City in 2014. She has now finished the production of the third part of the Trilogy. In 2012 Fiskum and her family relocated to a farm outside of Oslo for the purpose of starting R.E.D. as an International artist residency which she is running. Fiskum has initiated the Prelude Edition of RIFF (R.E.D. International Film Festival) in summer, 2015, a new dance film festival that will continue with its First Edition in 2016.
