Second international videodance exhibition

“A look into different frames”

A quail in motion, double personalities, big bruiser toys doing the typical contact dance style, a dancer who is cloned repeatedly to satisfy her art director, a nun who vanishes because of her desire to taste the meringue of a wedding cake, from a madhouse to a carousel, urban dreams, and…

This video dance screening includes some international artists (Spain, Belgium, United States, Argentina, Guatemala, Mexico) holding a long careers in their art, plus some eccentricities.

Lecture to be held after the videos: “Limits, influences and meaning of video dance” by Sara Schulz (Alias editor –press of books on contemporary art), and the videodance makers Mariana Arteaga, Anabella Pareja and Yolanda M. Guadarrama (also curator of this exhibition).

There will be pieces by: Mariana ARTEAGA, Anabella PAREJA, Cayetana VIDAL, Mitchell ROSE, Lisa DE BOECK & Marilêne COOLENS, Andrew WASS, Chus DOMÍNGUEZ & Elena CORDOBA, Guillermo FADANELLI.
